Information for presentations

Oral presentations

• Oral presentations will be 15 minutes plus 5 minutes for questions (Keynotes 25’ + 5’).

• All presentations must be prepared in PowerPoint (version 2003, please).

• The main computer will be a Windows PC. However, a Macintosh Laptop can also be made available if necessary.

• Please bring presentations on a CD/DVD or USB memory stick. It will not be possible to connect your own laptop (unless absolutely inevitable; requires arrangement prior to session starts).

• Oral presentations must be uploaded in the Speaker Ready Room on the morning of your talk before sessions commence (at the latest).

• A laser pointer and a microphone will be available.

• There will be no slide projector or overhead projector.

• A separate room will be available for rehearsals (Windows PCs). We strongly recommend that you check through your presentation especially if it contains videos or animations, or was produced on another operating system.

• All presentations will be removed from our system once the conference is finished.

• There will be no poster printing facilities available on campus.

• Posters should be put up on Sunday or Monday morning at the latest and should remain until Wednesday.

• Posters are assigned a poster board number (see detailed schedule).

• Attachment materials (pinboard needles) are available.

• Labeled poster tubes can be left at the registration desk.
